In recent decades, the Schmid Company have earned an excellent reputation in the making of multiple spindle machining centres. What we learned from these experiences and customers' wishes lead us to the twin-spindle machine product line. Particular attention to the needs of the customer was paid while doing this.
All the twin-spindle machines of this series are characterised by individually correctable X, Y and Z axes. This makes it possible to achieve the required high precision while making it easier to perform the corrective measures for tools and clamping devices needed in the course of day-to-day work.
Customer requirements are met by different overall sizes with HSK 63, HSK 80 and HSK 100 tool tapers. Extremely high flexibility is ensured by the option of selecting from a large number of different workpiece clamping possibilities.
Experience shows these twin-spindle machines provide high efficiency and effectiveness while ensuring flexibility.
